Russia declares war on Georgia

The Russian Federation has unofficially declared war on Georgia claiming that it is "protecting its citizens living in the break away region of South Ossetia". Prior the the Russian invasion of South Ossetia, Georgian troops had mobilised in and around South Ossetia and bombarded South Ossetian military establishments and troops.

South Ossetia is a region in Georgia which wants independence and to join the Russian Federation. Another separatist region of Georgia is Abkhazia. The Caucasus mountains is packed full of separatist regions ranging from Abkhazia in Georgia to Chechnya in Russia to Nagorno Karabakh in Azerbaijan. A Kabardino-Balkar saying says that "When God sprinkled the nation on the Earth, he dropped his shaker on the Caucasus", this can be quite evident now with all the nations conflicting with each other.

The Kaznian government has officially stated:
"Although the Kaznian government supports the glorious Russian Federation, taking much of its ideas and culture from Russia, we must condemn this attack on Georgian soil. The Kaznian people are shocked by the decision of the Russian government to invade Georgia. We can only describe Georgia as one of the most peaceful and cultured nations in Eastern Europe, and its independence, culture and sovereignty is being threatened by and country much larger than its self with a bigger military. We can only hope that Russia will have a change in heart and recall its troops from Georgia".
